Some pictures taken by Ida’s kindergarten teachers Sheniqua and Alicia, who she both loves very much. You can see them next to it in the pictures of Ida’s kindergarten harvest fest. The kids could find pumpkins, catch apples and dance in the hay to a band.

i promised to see the beach, so we took the N train to Coney Island after school to see the sunset.

Big Apple Circus with the Purdy family. It was great. Since then she points out any bus ad with the circus on it.

it has been a while since i had time to update scans of Ida’s book. Mainly because we’re all very busy doing work and Ida has been going to pre-k everyday until 3. She loves her teachers Alicia and Sheniqua who both are incredible teachers and give so much energy to the children. Most of her classmates already know each other from the playground, so the transition has been easy.

On the left side it’s a DVD with Ida movies from this summer in NYC, underneath is the police report for my bike that got stolen, despite the little chances that it will be found. Below is a rainbow on the beach, and Ida eating her first sushi (she likes salmon, ginger and wasabi not so much. I thought she would like maki a little more, since she is such an onigiri lover).

On the right: some more Fire island with Natane; Ida’s teacher at Virginia Day, and some of her classmates at the school’s annual bbq.
